NOW CASTING FOR OCTO THE MUSICAL PARODY

Within just a few short days of the initial casting call the production team of "Octomom The Musical Parody" has been bombarded with thousands of submissions from Los Angeles agents and managers pitching their actresses for the coveted role of OCTO.

While we can't tell you exactly who's coming in we can say that plenty of Broadway talent will be giving it their all to be considered.

[OCTO AND VARIOUS]Female, Mid 20’s - mid 30’s. Funny, whimsical, but not too charactery. She should be able to command authority, play broad range of facial expressions plus physical comedy. Sketch and improv experience a plus. Likable, energetic and at the same time able to be emotionally expressive and believable. Can handle musical theatre and pop styles a plus. Actress who can move.

[BERNIE M. AND VARIOUS] Male, late 30’s-40’s. Sketch and improv experience a plus. Will play various roles as well. Good with characters. Can handle musical theatre and pop styles a plus. Actors who can dance.

[CENTURY AND VARIOUS] Male, 20’s-30’s. Sketch and improv experience a plus. Think Jim Carrey, bit devilish, conflicted. Can handle musical theatre and pop styles a plus. Actors who can dance.

[REAL] Female, African-American, 20’s-30’s. Think Dreamgirls. A narrator of sorts. An actress that can make room laugh with just a look. Sketch and improv experience a plus. Actor who can move.

[VARIOUS] Male, 20’s-40’s. Able to play multiple characters and be likable, bit of a Monty Python flavor, can be the fool then switch to straight-man. Sketch and improv experience a plus. High Baritone who can belt and reach G. Someone who can handle various musical styles. Actors who can dance.

[VARIOUS] Female, 20’s- 30’s. Sketch and improv experience a plus. Will play various roles as well. Good with characters. Can handle musical theatre and pop styles a plus. Actress who can move.
